Alternative comics publisher, Ink Brick, is bringing it’s latest edition to Comics Art Brooklyn on November 2 and bookstores November 8. A 136-page ode to the wonder of comics poetry today, this edition includes a special feature from The Sequential Artists Workshop.

Tom has put selected his favorite mini-zines from his favorite in-class exercise, with a short introduction in case you want to give it a try at home. The abstract comics shown in Ink Brick No 10 are both collaborative and individual efforts from SAW workshops over the last few year, and include an abstract mystery, a found image collage, and a personal of a failed attempt.

These stories rest against comic poems by artists including Kimball Anderson, Alyssa Berg, Warren Craghead, Kevin Czap, Allie Doersch, Thomas Hamlyn-Harris, Ileana Haberman-Ducey, John Hankiewicz, Keren Katz, Mario Klingemann, Laurel Lynn Leake, Alexander Rothman, Daryl Seitchik, Alexey Sokolin, Bianca Stone, Noemi Charlotte Thieves, Noel Suthers, Paul K. Tunis, Andrew White and Madeleine Witt!

After 6-years of publishing, this will be the last issue from Ink Brick while the creative team goes on a well-earned hiatus. Keep an eye out for issue No 10 at your local bookstore from November 8!
