SPX 2011

Thanks to everyone who met and talked with us at SPX 2011. We gave out or sold 100s of copies of Seriously Comics and ISRA. We gave out hundreds more fliers and gave an hour-long workshop with CSS’s Alec Longstreth. These pics are from Dre Grigoropol whose site is www.dretime.org and her mini “What about the Penguins?” was marvelous!

Special hellos to Glynnis Fawkes who is always kind and does great comics, to Madeleine Flores and Mario Gonzalez in Orlando, to Kailyn Kent for her enthusiasm, to Box Brown for letting us crash on his floor, to Pat Ausilio for the same, and to the organizers of SPX for hosting. We met lots of other fans and friends; if we’ve forgotten to say a personal thanks, please know we are happy you stopped by.

Special thanks to Bill Kartalopoulos, Charles Brownstein, Jeff Newelt and Rob Clough for their always-wise counsel.

We’re working now to set up the school in Gainesville’s south side, with some classes probably starting this fall. Sign up for our mailing list and stay tuned!
