Shame Stories with Cara Gormally - Starts July 1, 2024

Cara Gormally Invites You to Explore

“Comics are powerful. Comics can help release us from what keeps us stuck. What are the stories that keep us small? That make us feel unloveable?

I believe that we can free ourselves and find our way out by telling these stories. In class, we’ll explore some research about shame and its function to help counter those old narratives in our brains. Then, we’ll dive into working through prompts, sharing our work, and building our capacity for bravery, tenderness, and joy in our comics.” - Cara Gormally
