Meet your guide
Derek M Ballard has done some cartoon stuff for TV (like Adventure Time and Midnight Gospel), been a machinist, a carpenter, and a million other sweaty things (like sitting at his drawing desk churning out daily comic strips that have been bought together in a bunch of different publications under the title of Cartoonshow, in Gainesville, Florida).
His REAL job though is being a single dad of three 24/7, and, according to the state of Florida, that job has no financial value whatsoever.
