SAW @ Small Press Expo 2024!

This year, SAW went to Small Press Expo (SPX) to sling some books and spread the good word about our affordable programming! We got over 10 sheets of signups (yippee!) of folks interested in our classes and general event programming. Lots of folks were from the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area, which is cool, because the majority of our programming is online!

Tom gave a talk and workshop on lettering. He did a great job, too, it was so full and everyone came up to us after and was super excited to meet us and learn about everything SAW has to offer.

This was only my second SPX, but I got to meet so many new folks as well as see familiar faces. I think the best part must have been meeting with our online students in REAL life. Shouts out to Emily Zilber, Jen Ludwig, and faculty member Elise Dietrich! Thank you all for such a wonderful visit to Bethesda!! Til next time :)
