So far in March on See SAW Comics

Come check out our recent updates on See SAW Comics!

Emily Zilber’s Matter wrapped up with two final episodes!

Emily is using her laptop, with heavy eyebags and looking exhausted and dejected. Everything seems to be rendered in a black and gray ink wash with a brush-like pen. She narrates, “That potent house museum magic first started receding for me during that time. I spent the weekends catching up on work, my thoughts interrupted by guided tours. I felt ungrateful feeling this way, even as I was struggling without savings or health insurance. It reinforced my internal narrative that my life was worth significantly less than those on the other side of the wall.”

(And stay tuned for the next installment of our In The News, Again anthology, "Max, Foster Dog" by Maia Iotzova! Coming this Thursday...)

Donna Druchunas updated her mini-memoir series with a new episode, "Notes for My Shrink #1"

A person wearing a pink bra and “pussy hat,” with a body-builder-like physique, and knitting with pink yarn. The background is also various shades of pink. In large hot pink letters is the word “SMASH.” Narration reads, “At 3:15 AM on Friday, November 9, 2016, I had a nervous breakdown.”

Aaaand we’re now posting comics shared during our FREE FRIDAY NIGHT COMICS WORKSHOPS!

Several weeks’ worth of comics are up now—come check out the lovely work your peers have been creating!!!! And make some yourself at next week's workshop with Liz Yerby, Friday, March 15 at 7PM EDT!

A cartoon of two women with bright green skin, long red-pink hair, and red-pink dresses, surfing a large ocean wave while reading books. A third green surfer is cut off, except for their legs standing on one of each woman's shoulders in a kind of cheerleading triangle formation. Across this image is the text, in white, all-caps block letters: "SAW Presents Free Friday Night Comics"
